Apple's new $1,099 iMac for just $999.99, tax-free in most states
$999.99 CES
For the July 4th holiday, Apple Authorized Reseller B&H Photo has temporarily cut the price of Apple's brand new 1.4GHz 21-inch iMac (MF883LL/A) to $999 from $1,099.00 — an discount of $99. What's more, B&H only charges sales tax on internet orders shipped to its home state of NY, and if you attach a 3-year AppleCare Protection Plan to the same order, B&H will also discount that plan from $169 to $122, an additional $47 savings. Plus, all orders come with a free copy of Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac and ship free. Supply is limited at this price, B&H says.
